My name is Bennett Kerwin and I am a senior at Marquette University studying Public Relations and Marketing. I also think you’d be interested to learn a little bit about me.
I am from Sturgeon Bay, WI, the largest town in Door County, with a whopping population of 9,000 people. I have two parents, two sisters, two dogs and two cats (no clue if that’s a coincidence).
In Wisconsin, one of my favorite things to do is enjoy the outdoors. Hiking, biking, running and sailing are some of my favorite activities. While I have a soft spot for my home state, I have a great passion for traveling and have had a number of great opportunities to travels everywhere from Australia to Scotland to Dubai to Argentina. All of these experiences have really opened my eyes and inspired my sense of adventure.
I work at the Green Kitchen in the Milwaukee Public Market, and am a journalism intern for CollegeFashionista.com, an international fashion website. I am also a Campus Representative at Marquette for J.Crew-my absolute favorite store. I am very passionate about fashion, and studied abroad in Paris this summer through Parsons: The New School of Design, and learned a ton about the world of fashion marketing. I also co-founded the first ever Style Club at Marquette this semester. We are just in the finishing stages of starting an online fashion magazine and will host events, trunk shows, and guest speakers at Marquette.
